In 2010, moved to the UK and founded Quipper, a digital education platform. Deployed services in six countries worldwide by procuring capital several times from venture capitals in Japan, the United States and Europe. In 2015, sold all shares to Recruit. In 2018, returned to Japan, and participated in the founding of FOODCODE, which combines food with IT. On the side, worked as an outside director and advisor in Japan and abroad at an IT venture, and VC/consulting firm. As an angel investor, invested on his own in start-ups in Japan, the United States and Europe.
